Drawing inspiration from centuries-old manuscripts - some dating back over 200 years - Wheatley breathes new life into forgotten melodies, weaving them together with his own original compositions. The result is an album that feels both ancient and immediate: a dialogue between the archival and the contemporary. Performed live by Charlie wheatley - guitar, Tom Wheatley - double bass, Nina Harries - double bass, and Tom Moore - viola.
